　　担任加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学教授，工商管理学院国际项目部主任，自上世纪80年代起，担任澳大利亚默纳市大学，南澳大学，菲比德斯大学教授，现任加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学教授。

　　2000年在中国担任北京大学，清华大学，华中理工大学，香港科技大学教授，在英国曼彻斯特大学担任教授。

　　自2005年担任加拿大教授以来在世界范围内的优秀大学的经济学和国际商务方面获得了诸多的高级学术成就！同时在他的职业生涯中还著有各类经济学类作品，曾在《世界银行》等许多著名杂志发布经济学著作。

　　Professor Michael Burns

　　Professor Burns is currently Adjunct Professor and Director of International Programs in the Faculty of Business Administration at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. When he joined Memorial in 2005 Professor Burns brought with him the nearly 25 years successful experience in senior academic positions in economics and international business at leading universities worldwide.

　　Over his career Professor Burns has achieved distinction through academic and professional leadership, as a widely published researcher and policy adviser (in areas including consumer behaviour and the measurement of economic well-being, strategic pricing, economic modeling, environment assessment and policy), in curriculum development, through the development and management of collaborative international education projects and as a national media commentator.
